New Music Videos from Alice Merton and Guns 'N Roses
Music videos are some of my favorite things in the world! You get an awesome little story made to (hopefully) one of your favorite songs. I feel that music videos can really change your perspective on a song. But even if the music video doesn't go into depth into a story and is maybe a performance video you still get a taste into the lives of your favorite musicians lives.
Two videos were released today, one by new up and coming artist Alice Merton. Her first single "No Roots" took off and is quite the catchy tune! I remember the first time I heard it I couldn't get it out of my head and had to listen to it over and over again. So much so that I forced my co-worker to listen to it at work and then she loved it too! Anyway, her new single is "Lash Out" and she just released the video for it today. It's a fun video showing various people reaching their breaking point and "lashing out". Alice, finds herself sitting in traffic reaching her breaking point like Michael Douglas in Falling Down. Check it out below.
Alice recently played at the BottleRock Festival in Napa Valley this past weekend. Be sure to tune back in to hear our review of the festival!
The next music video is surprisingly a new one by rock veterans Guns 'N Roses for their song "It's So Easy" off of Appetite For Destruction. The song may be vintage but the video is new. Evidentially it was taped back in 1989 but was only recently completed. It's everything you would expect from a 1989 GNR video... performance shots of both on stage and off stage debauchery. Enjoy.
